President’s Appointment of Selection Committee for Vice President, Compliance Advisor Ombudsman
International Finance Corporation and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency

Pursuant to the Process for Selecting the Vice President, Office for the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), World Bank Group President David Malpass has appointed the following persons to the Selection Committee:

 

From the Business Community:

Strive Masiyiwa, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Econet Group.

Ann Condon, Visiting Scholar at the Environmental Law Institute and former Director, Resource and Environmental Strategies at General Electric Company.

 

From Civil Society:

Athena Ballesteros, Climate Finance Director of the Asia program at the Growald Family Fund and former Director of World Resources Institute’s Center for Sustainable Finance Program.

Lori Udall, President of Montpelier Consulting, LLC and Program Director for Sacharuna Foundation.

 

From the Board of Directors: 

Anne Kabagambe, Executive Director at the World Bank Group for the Africa Group I Constituency, EDS14 

Masanori Yoshida, Executive Director representing Japan, EDS02 


Selection Committee members from civil society and the business community were selected from a list of nominees jointly submitted by IFC, MIGA and CAO and are highly-regarded professionals with knowledge and experience in development and environmental and social sustainability.
