この度、世界銀行グループは、重要鉱物に関する世界の市場動向や政策、国際協調に関するオンラインセミナーを4月28日（火）午前9時半 (日本時間) より開催いたします。

世界の主要産業やクリーンエネルギー分野において重要鉱物の重要性が一層と高まる中、そのサプライチェーンにおいては生産、特に精錬・加工における集中化による構造的な問題を抱えています。日本を含め世界各国で重要鉱物のサプライチェーンの多様化は喫緊の課題となっており、重要鉱物のサプライチェーン強化に向けた投資を加速するための規制緩和や投資環境の整備をはじめ、国際協調に向けた対話も積極的に進められています。

本セミナーでは、世界銀行グループの同分野スペシャリストが、世界の重要鉱物の最新市場と需給の動向を踏まえ、各国及び地域で重要鉱物の生産・精錬などに向けた投資を進める上での重要な政策や規制の動向についてご説明いたします。

The World Bank Group would like to invite you to join us for the World Bank Group webinar entitled “Critical Minerals: Market Dynamics, Policy Frameworks and Global Collaboration for Supply Chain Resilience” on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. (Japan time).

The demand for critical minerals continues to rise rapidly, driven largely by clean energy applications, while supply chains face major structural shifts. Expanded production, price volatility, and highly concentrated refining and processing capacity are reshaping markets and heightening supply risks.  Given the strategic importance of critical minerals for climate goals and economic resilience, there is an urgent need for informed dialogue on market trends, policy responses, and international cooperation.

This webinar will provide an overview of the latest critical minerals market trends and demand-supply dynamics and examine key policy and regulatory developments shaping national and regional strategies, as well as international collaboration and initiatives that support resilient, diversified and responsible supply chains.
