IFC and MIGA Seeking Input from Stakeholders
The proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action is part of IFC’s and MIGA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability throughout the project cycle and also reflects IFC/MIGA’s commitment to explore the recommendations of the “External Review of IFC/MIGA’s E&S Accountability, including the CAO’s Role and Effectiveness Report and Recommendations.”
The public consultation will mainly focus on the proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action, but will also provide an opportunity to consult on the draft IFC responsible exit principles.
Public Consultation: February 21 – April 13, 2023
The proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action and the draft IFC responsible exit principles are available for consultation. The feedback gathered during the consultation process will be considered as the proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action and the draft IFC responsible exit principles are refined.
