Consultation on the proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action

The proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action is part of IFC’s and MIGA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability throughout the project cycle and also reflects IFC/MIGA’s commitment to explore the recommendations of the “External Review of IFC/MIGA’s E&S Accountability, including the CAO’s Role and Effectiveness Report and Recommendations.”

The public consultation focused on the proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action and also provided an opportunity to consult on the draft IFC responsible exit principles. The feedback gathered during the consultation process will be considered as the proposed IFC/MIGA Approach to Remedial Action and the draft IFC responsible exit principles are refined.
