IFC’s FY14 Annual Report highlights how we bring together resources, expertise, and ideas to end poverty and boost shared prosperity.  Our investments exceeded $22 billion, including $5 billion mobilized from other investors.

In FY13, our investments climbed to an all- time high of nearly $25 billion, leveraging the power of the private sector to create jobs and tackle the world’s most pressing development challenges.

In FY12, IFC invested a record $20.4 billion in 103 developing countries, reflecting a doubling of our annual commitments over the last five years. Those investments included nearly $5 billion mobilized from other investors.

The 2008 Annual Report continues an approach IFC pioneered last year, combining information on our investments and advisory services, sustainability, development effectiveness, and donor partnerships.

IFC has announced a third consecutive year of record growth, owing to the strong economic performance of many developing member countries. The financial results set the stage for a planned expansion in IFC's investments and advisory services.

IFC posted a strong portfolio and income growth for FY04. Investments for its own account were $4.75 billion, a 23 percent increase over FY03 commitments, while its operating income was $982 million, almost double from FY03.

IFC's operating income for FY03 grew to $528 million, more than triple the figure for FY02 and one of the Corporation’s highest on record, while its committed portfolio grew by 11.5 percent to $16.8 billion.
