Asya Port Liman Isletmeleri (‘Asyaport’) is a large investment project to build a greenfield container terminal in Turkiye. In 2019, Asyaport completed a gender-based violence (GBV) risk assessment as part of IFC’s Environmental and Social (E&S) review. Based on the results, the company agreed to take actions to promote equal opportunities in the project and reduce GBV risks. This case study highlights the implementation of the company’s E&S Action Plan, and more.
