Meeting Themes:
- Food security: Addressing the current energy and food crises in the context of a new system for energy, climate and nature.
- Global macro-economic challenges: Addressing the current high inflation, low growth, high debt economy in the context of a new system for investment, trade, and infrastructure.
- Ukraine: Ukraine faces the daunting task of rebuilding its economy and infrastructure even as it continues to defend itself against Russia’s military aggression.
Against a backdrop of COVID-19, climate change, the invasion of Ukraine and geo-economic fragmentation. IFC’s priorities for the 2023 meeting include food security, trade finance, climate, digitalization, and gender.
