Financial Infrastructure Support for Post-Pandemic Economic Recovery in Asia Pacific

The conference is being organized by the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC)/Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF), IFC/World Bank Group and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
The meeting will review the latest development of financial infrastructure in the region, and reflect on how the trade & supply chain finance (SCF) industry and the data & data analytics market have evolved recently in APEC economies, particularly under the context of COVID-19.
Among others, the meeting will discuss the required enabling environment for SCF, the need for non-deposit-taking lenders (NDTLs) to support SME finance and SCF, how governments and market participants can collaborate to develop e-ID and e-KYC services for the digital economy and digital finance including online SCF, and how financial infrastructure services can support post-COVID recovery in general.
