Julia Cajal-Grossi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and the André Hoffmann Chair in Development and Trade. She does research in the intersection between development, international trade and industrial organization. Her work studies microeconomic aspects of firm behavior, inter-firm relationships and the organization of labor in developing countries. She has conducted research in several countries (Bangladesh, Uganda, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Pakistan) and collaborated with international organizations, government agencies in developing countries, NGOs and corporate partners.
