Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, November 6, 2026 — To further strengthen food security, expand domestic agribusiness, and generate rural employment, IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is providing a second loan of up to $10 million equivalent in Kyrgyz soms to Adal Azyk LLC and its subsidiaries—the leading meat processing and poultry producer in the Kyrgyz Republic operating under the well-known Toyboss brand.
IFC’s financing will support the continued expansion of the company's poultry operations, including completion of the new feed mill and a new broiler farm in Kemin district. The project aims to significantly increase poultry meat production, reduce the Kyrgyz Republic’s reliance on imports, and create new opportunities for farmers, processors, and local distributors.
This second financing completes IFC’s total investment package of up to $20 million in local currency for the company’s expansion program. The initial phase of the financing supporting the expansion was announced in July last year.
The project is expected to support nearly 3,900 direct, indirect, and induced jobs across the value chain, including more than 250 new direct jobs within the company and roughly 730 temporary jobs during the construction period.
“Expanding our partnership with IFC marks a critical milestone in our transition toward a fully integrated ‘farm-to-table’ production model,” said Myrzabek Orumbaev, CEO of Adal Azyk. “This second financing will help us scale production, strengthen local value chains, and deliver safe, high-quality food to more families. This continued support shows that Kyrgyz agribusinesses can uphold high standards of governance, transparency, and product safety.”
“A stronger domestic agribusiness sector means greater food security, better rural jobs and more resilient economy,” said Wagner Albuquerque de Almeida, IFC’s Regional Industry Director for Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services in the Middle East and Central Asia. “This project delivers tangible benefits where they matter most: creating hundreds of jobs in rural districts, integrating local farmers into modern commercial supply chains, and curbing reliance on food imports.”
The investment is complemented by IFC advisory support on decarbonization and energy efficiency, corporate and family governance, and animal health and biosecurity. The project is supported by the IDA PSW Local Currency Facility, which mitigates currency risk and provides local-currency liquidity that is otherwise unavailable in the domestic commercial banking sector.
