IFC's 9th Global Trade Partners Meeting brought together over 400 delegates from more than 50 countries in Lisbon, Portugal, for three days of thought leadership, networking, and celebration. The event featured an outstanding two-day program of internationally renowned speakers and panelists, who shared their analysis and perspectives on the global trade landscape. Alongside the sessions, delegates had ample opportunities to forge new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.

The conference culminated in the 2026 IFC Awards Ceremony, honoring the top-performing trade and supply chain finance partners of the past year. Congratulations to all of this year's winners.

About the Global Trade Partners Meeting

IFC held its inaugural Global Trade Partners Meeting in Paris in 2007, with the goal of deepening relationships among member banks of its Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP) partner banks. The event was an immediate success, and subsequent editions — held in Washington D.C., Dubai, Istanbul, Lisbon, Milan, and Barcelona — have been equally well-received.

Drawing on IFC's extensive footprint and client base in emerging markets, the Global Trade Partners Meeting has grown into one of the few truly global trade finance events in the world.
