IFC convened its 8th Global Trade Partners Meeting (GTPM) on May 7-9, 2024 in Barcelona to celebrate the 20th anniversary of IFC’s Global Trade Finance Program. 340 delegates from 57 countries attended this event, which was co-hosted by Caixa Bank, one of IFC’s most active trade finance bank partners.
The GTPM Barcelona 2024 featured a two-day program of internationally renowned speakers and panelists providing analysis of the global trade arena, as well as ample opportunities to network and develop new business relationships.
The event also featured the IFC Awards Ceremony, a highlight of the gathering that celebrated the industry's top-performing trade and supply chain finance partners. The ceremony recognized outstanding contributions across key categories, honoring the institutions that have demonstrated excellence in advancing global trade finance.
