Matt Elliott is Professor of Economics at Cambridge University and Fellow of Jesus College Cambridge. He is Associate Editor of Econometrica, on the editorial board for the Review of Economic Studies and a fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory. He won the 2017 British Academy Wiley Prize in Economics and the 2012 Aliprantis Prize jointly with Professor Ben Golub, and has published in leading economics journals, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy and Review of Economic Studies. His work focuses on trading relationships and the resulting networked structure of markets, including financial networks and supply networks.
