Andreas Moxnes is a Professor of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School. His research focuses on international trade, global production networks, and multinational firms, with particular emphasis on how firms organize production across borders and how shocks propagate through supply chains. Moxnes’ research has been published in leading economics journals including the American Economic Review and the Journal of Political Economy. He currently leads the ERC Advanced Grant project DIVISION, which studies how firms divide production across countries and how these decisions shape global trade patterns.
