Alianca da Terra's Carbon Monitoring and Accounting System Report
The need to prepare smallholders for new developments in the marketplace is obvious, but how to do is less clear. Aliança da Terra is making an effort to do so through its work preparing rural producers for carbon markets. To support this effort, the Carbon Monitoring and Accounting System (CMAS) was developed. This tool, developed to account for carbon loss and accumulation, is able to detect the status of carbon stock in the rural properties.
