From Cairo to Cape Town, Africa is full of promising entrepreneurs who are building innovative companies and helping solve some of the continent’s most pressing development challenges. IFC and Egypt’s Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation have selected more than 100 high-potential start-ups to participate in a new initiative designed to create opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The Next African Start-Ups program was launched during the Africa 2018 Forum earlier this month. The program will connect entrepreneurs with potential investors, financial institutions, and policymakers —providing what they need to grow and introduce new services and technologies that will improve people’s lives across the continent.
