New Deals

CEPI | Global 

To help close the global gap in vaccine access for COVID-19 and other diseases, IFC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), a global alliance to accelerate development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases.

Bergman Ross | Africa 

IFC has invested in Ghana-based Quest Medical Imaging, which is majority-owned by South Africa-based Bergman Ross & Partners, to support the construction of new medical diagnostics facilities in Accra, Ghana.

MedGenome | India 

IFC is partnering with a leading genetic diagnostics and research company in India, MedGenome, to increase access to COVID-19 testing, and support research to better understand the virus, its variants and manage future outbreaks.

MiCare | Southeast Asia 

IFC has made a new investment in medical claims administrator MiCare, which serves 45 health insurers with 13 million members in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. 

Integrated Diagnostics Holding | Middle East & North Africa 

To enhance the region’s capacity to scale up testing, including for Covid-19, IFC approved a loan to Integrated Diagnostics Holding, a leading diagnostics provider in Egypt.
