The Corporate Governance Guidelines for Listed Companies are intended to raise the corporate governance standards of listed companies in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) to bring them in line with regional and global standards based on the latest G20/OECD1 Principles of Corporate Governance and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) Corporate Governance Scorecard. The Guidelines provide practical guidance for shareholders, boards of directors, senior management and heads of different functions of listed companies to ensure their efficiency, order, transparency and fairness as well as enhance the exercising of their roles, rights and duties with high levels of responsibility and integrity.
