Sustaining the Cool

With some COVID-19 Vaccines requiring subzero temperatures, the increase of in-home dining, and many of us hunkered due to social distancing and lockdowns, the need for cool has never been more important.

On this episode of ClimateBiz, we spotlight sustainable cooling with Danfoss' President of Climate Solutions, Jürgen Fischer. Fischer says his company plans to be carbon neutral by 2030, but that the effort will require a concerted effort up and down the cold chain. Policy, new technologies, consumer practices, and contractor buy-in all have a role to play. However, as with many businesses, what concerns Danfoss most... are leaks.

The cold chain is booming at the moment—not only because of COVID 19 and vaccines, but also a need for (frozen) food.
