IFC Jobs Study: Moving to the next phase - Implementation
With the Jobs Study report launched and conference over, our focus is now on implementation -- what can we do in practice to help create more and better jobs, building on the findings of the Study and working with our partners.
We would like to solicit inputs in developing a very strong proposal on what can be done to move the jobs agenda forward to the implementation stage. In this respect, the high interest and cooperation from 28 IFIs provide a unique opportunity to work together to create an implementation solution strategy.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support from The Netherlands' Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and by the UK's Department for International Development (DFID).
We would like to thank the team of people who helped prepare this report. They include the core team of authors, members of an external advisory panel, IFC and World Bank colleagues who helped with several case studies and research, operational colleagues who provided inputs, private sector clients, donor partners, and colleagues who supported the production of the report.
