SEA Multi-stakeholder Baseline Assessment Workshops

Stakeholders are encouraged to join three upcoming workshops to identify key issues and opportunities in river basin development  for the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Hydropower Sector in Myanmar. These interactive workshops will provide stakeholders the opportunity to comment on the findings from regional river basin consultations.

 

The workshops will take place in Yangon, Myitkyina, and Loikaw. In Yangon, the national multi-stakeholder workshop will cover all the major river basins in Myanmar. The workshops in Myitkyina and Loikaw will focus on identifying Ayeyarwady and Thanlwin River Basin-specific issues and opportunities.

 

Myanmar and English language translation will be available at all workshops, and upon request, Kachin in Myitkyina and Karen in Loikaw.
