Sustainable Business Advisory partners with donors to respond to global challenges. This allows donors to achieve the local impact they seek as well as contribute to developing innovative business models for sustainable markets that can be replicated elsewhere. Donors who have become partners recognize the benefits of tapping IFC's extensive knowledge and resources and experience in private sector development in emerging markets. Today, donors are able to work with IFC through its Sustainable Business Advisory on several key issues such as climate change adaptation and mitigation, agribusiness, food security, women in business, strategic community investment, sustainable investing, corporate governance, clean energy, resource efficiency and SME capacity building. Our work is implemented in all regions and is supported by a global team (The Facility for Sustainable Advisory Business Services). IFC's Sustainable Business Advisory works in partnership with the following donors:
Australia, Austria, Canada, the Caribbean Development Bank, Denmark, Disney, the European Commission, Finland, Flanders, France, the Gender Action Plan, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition Foundation, the Global Environment Facility, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, the Moore Foundation, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Saxony, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Trust Fund for Environmental and Socially Sustainable Development, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United Nations Office for Project Services, the United States, and the Wallonia Region of Belgium.

Sustainable Business Advisory: Annual Reports
The 2012 Review of IFC's Advisory Services in Sustainable Business highlights the results of IFC's work to promote good corporate governance and strategic community investments; advance women entrepreneurs, small scale farms and firms; and engage the private sector in climate change solutions.
This is the first annual review since the Board endorsed a new strategic orientation for IFC's Advisory Services in Sustainable Business and adopted the new multi-donor Facility in 2011. It shows that our efforts are off to a good start: the portfolio is on track, performance ratings are solid, and cost efficiency is steady.
Sustainable Business Advisory has grown, become more focused, and zeroed in on delivering concrete value in areas that are critical to deliver on the future we want—helping drive sustainable business practices and creating opportunities for more women and men.
