IFC has a global network of monitoring and evaluation officers in its regional facilities, other donor funded operations, and departments engaged in advisory work.
Principal areas of work include:
- Developing standard indicators in cooperation with IFC's advisory service business lines
- Supervising external reviews of IFC projects
- Implementing experimental/quasi-experimental impact evaluations
- Designing analytical tools for cost-benefit analysis
- Conducting training on M&E concepts and procedures
- Facilitating the exchange of ideas via M&E Conferences
