Community Investment Strategies

The Community Investment Strategies program provides an integrated approach to community development and stakeholder engagement which helps companies structure their Community Investment in ways that:

• Align the company's business objectives with local development priorities
• Optimize benefits to the company and the community
• Promote local ownership and sustainability
• Improve the quality of stakeholder relationships

Through tools, capacity building, and quality assurance, the program assists IFC regional staff and local partners to provide strategic advice to companies in designing and implementing Community Investment programs.
