We support investments made by the following eligible Partners:
- State, Municipal, Provincial, Regional or Local Governments and their entities (including water and sanitation utilities)
- Financial Intermediaries
- Nationally-owned Enterprises (selectively)
… in the following sectors:
- Water and wastewater
- Transportation
- Solid waste
- Social Infrastructure such as health and education
- Power, gas distribution, and district heating
- Other essential public services
We also support
public-private projects such as leasing, management contracts and concessions, either through financing the public share of the investment or through joint ventures with the private sector in which control is public.
