The program sponsored and jointly organized the 10th African Leasing Association (Afrolease) Convention from June 5 to 6, 2006. The convention was highly successful, involving about hundred participants from fourteen countries. Resource persons included Mr. Ron de Koven, the principal drafter of the Unidroit Model Law on leasing and Mr. Sudhir Amembal, a foremost authority on lease training. Afrolease formally acknowledged IFC’s role in the success of the event.
