IFC hosted a course on basics of Leasing at the Novotel Umubano Hotel in Rwanda from July 30 – August 1, 2007. The course brought banks, regulators, legislators, equipment suppliers and small and medium enterprises together and was designated to enhance their knowledge on leasing, with a particular focus on leasing for the small and medium enterprise market.
Sudhir Amembal, founder of Amembal & Associates conducted the course. Sudhir Amembal has been consulting for IFC for a number of years. Mr. Amembal began his professional career in lease education, consulting and publications in 1978.
