The program will create business opportunities in three sectors – forestry/furniture, tourism and fisheries – by improving environmental management and encouraging sustainability. In particular, the program aims to:
- Develop the supply of, and market for, responsibly sourced forest products
- Improve market access for furniture made with "good wood"
- Facilitate the growth of eco-tourism opportunities
- Support the development of a sustainable ornamental fish industry
