The program focuses on strengtheing Indonesia's financial institutions by introducing best practice techniques and financial product that are designed for the small and medium enterprise sector. The program includes:
- Strengthening commercial banks through product development and market segmentation, process streamlining and operations, as well as risk management
- Strengthening micro-finance and alternative channles, specifically, rural banks, sharia banks and other micro finance institutions
- Developing Business Developemnt Service Providers (BDSP) network support between BDSPs, local banks and small and medium businesses to help facilitate closer cooperation and usage of business development services in the financial community
- Training for commercial banks, BDSPs and other non-banking institutions on best practice in small and meidum enterprises access to finance
