- IFC WORKING WITH TONGA, A "DOING BUSINESS' TOP REFORMER TO PROMOTE MEDIATION CAPACITY - Highlighting mediation as an efficient process of settling disputes has been the biggest achievement of Tonga's first Law Week held from November 12 to 16, 2007, according to Tonga's Chief Justice Antony Ford. IFC assisted the launch of Tonga Law Week and coordinated the mediation awareness workshop designed to improve public knowledge of court-referred mediation.
- TOOL DIAGNOSING IMPEDIMENTS TO TOURISM LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY - PEP-Pacific, Mekong Private Sector Development Facility (MPDF) and FIAS (The Investment Climate Advisory Service) are jointly development a Tourism Sector Diagnostic tool that can be used to identify and measure impediments to sustainable development of the tourism sector.
