Business Development Manager - Supply Chain Linkages (SCL)
Based in Hochiminh City, Vietnam

Prior to joining IFC MPDF, Ken was a senior industry specialist with the IFC based in Washington and Hong Kong, where he was responsible for assessing the suitability of projects for IFC investment and loans. Ken also spent over 20 years in the private sector, including 15 years working in senior management positions in manufacturing companies in Africa and Thailand. Ken has a BSc (honors) degree in Production Engineering from Birmingham University in the UK. Ken is a British national.

Ho Bach LIEN
Project Manager, Bamboo Value Chain Development – SCL

Lien joined IFC MPDF in December 1998. Previously, Lien worked as a chemical engineer for an international trading company. Lien holds an engineering diploma on Production Processes from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Lien is a Vietnamese national.

Project Officer - SCL

Ha rejoined MPDF in January 2005, after two years working as a consultant for a local securities firm. Ha previously worked as a BDO for MPDF. Prior to this, Ha spent two years as a Business Development Associate for DAI, a international consulting firm. Ha holds a BA in English from Hanoi National University, and a MBA in Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Ha is a Vietnamese National.

KATE Lloyd-Williams
Consultant, Tourism sector - SCL

Prior to joining IFC MPDF, Kate worked for Accenture in London as a management consultant, specializing in Human Performance & Change Management. Kate worked mostly with Financial Services clients, including Prudential, JP Morgan and Barclays. She was originally seconded to IFC MPDF through Accenture Development Partnerships in 2003 to develop the Consultant Development Program, and subsequently joined MPDF to manage the program in January 2004. She has managed the Tourism Program since 2005. She holds a degree in Economics & Social and Economic History from Bristol University in the UK. Kate is a British national.

Team Assistant – SCL

Nhung joined IFC MPDF in April 2008. Nhung has five years of experience assistance to CFO/GM. Nung holds degrees from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Nhung is a Vietnamese national.

BAS Rozemuller
Project Manager, Agricultural Supply Chain Linkages – SCL

Bas joined IFC MPDF in April 2008 as the Project Manager for the Agricultural Supply Chain Linkages Project in Cambodia. Prior to joining IFC, Bas worked for more than eight years for the ILO, mainly focusing on SME Development and Value Chain Analysis. His most recent posting was in Hanoi as an SME expert on a joint ILO-VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry) SME development project. Prior to that, Bas was based in Phnom Penh for two years as Chief Technical Advisor for a small enterprise development project, covering both Cambodia and Lao PDR. He has an M.A. degree in organizational science from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Bas is a Dutch national.

HOURN Thy
Project Manager, Tourism sector - SCL

Prior to joining IFC MPDF in January 2002, Hourn had four years of community development experience, and six months of experience working in marketing in Paris. For MPDF, from January 2002 until mid 2005, Hourn primarily focused on business associations, BE/Flexible Learning, and Business Edge TV. Hourn holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and a Specialized Master's in Entrepreneurship from Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Paris in France. Hourn is a Cambodian National.

SOVITHEA Khun
Project Analyst – SCL

Sovithea joined IFC in September 2005. For his first two years, Sovithea worked on the Private Sector Forum, then moved to the Agribusiness Supply Chain Linkages program. Before joining the IFC, Sovithea had six years experience with NGOs and UN agencies focusing on SME development in Cambodia. He has a BSc degree in Hydro-geology engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, and a BBA in Accounting from the National Institute of Management. He also has an MSc in Maritime Administration from the World Maritime University in Sweden. Sovethia is a Cambodian national.

POULLANG Duong
Project Analyst - SCL

Poullang joined IFC MPDF in August 2005 as a Project Analyst in the Social and Environmental Sustainability Program. Poullang now works in the Agribusiness Supply Chain Linkages Program to develop selected SCL projects for the enhancement of SME development in Cambodia's agro-industry. Prior to joining IFC, he worked for six months at CARE USA Headquarters, and worked as Graduate Research Assistant for Georgia State University while pursuing his graduate studies. Poullang has more than three years of experience as Senior Accountant and Public Relations Account Executive during his time with Bates Asia in Cambodia. Poullang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National Institute of Management, Phnom Penh, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration with concentration on Management and Finance from Georgia State University, USA on a Fulbright Scholarship. Poullang is a Cambodian national.

SAKARA Sour Noeu
Team Assistant - SCL

Sakara joined IFC MPDF in October 2006. Prior to joining the Facility, she worked for two years with an agribusiness firm and for another year with a construction company as a document controller and purchasing agent. Sakara earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management at Cambodia’s National University of Management. Sakara is a Cambodian National.

VIENTIANE OFFICE

VIENGXAY Praphasiri
Project Officer – SCL

Viengxay joined IFC MPDF in 1999. She has extensive experience in the banking sector, having spent more than seven years as a credit officer with a local Lao bank. Prior to that, Viengxay worked for the Bank of Lao PDR. Viengxay holds an MSc in Economics from the Australian National University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Hungary. Viengxay is a Lao national.

NITTAYA Munekittirath
Program Assistant - SCL

Nittaya joined IFC MPDF in September 2006. Prior to this, she worked for Phoenix Clearance Company Ltd.,Co (New Zealand Mine and Bomb Clearance Company) and for Roch Mining Company (Australia Mining Company)as a translator and interpreter for 18 months. Nittaya holds a BA in English Language from the National University of Laos (NUoL), and an Advanced Diploma in Business (International Trade) from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Nittaya is a Lao national.
