October 26, 2006 - IFC-MPDF and the Asia Foundation (TAF), with funding support from the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), announced the results of the 2006 Provincial Business Environment Scorecard (PBES) in Cambodia on October 26, from 2:30 –5:00 pm. The 2006 PBES is the first annual survey evaluating the business environment at the provincial level from the perspective of economic governance and regulatory policy. Provinces are ranked against each other and it is hoped that this benchmarking will lead to improvements in the local business environment for micro, small and medium enterprises.
