June 21, 2005 — Under the Consultant Development Program (CDP), IFC-MPDF has developed a unique consulting skills course tailored to the local Vietnamese market. This is based on international standard consultant training, but tailored to suit private sector business practices in Vietnam.
The 10-day course provides Vietnamese consultants with the core skills required to be a professional consultant. The objective is to increase the capability of local consultants, speed up the maturing process of the local consulting market, and increase the availability of local consulting services.
The latest 10 day course was held in two five-day sections in June and August 2005. The course was split into two parts to enable consultants to carry on with their regular work.
