KARLA Quizon
Program Manager – Environmental & Social Sustainability
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Karla manages the Environmental and Social Sustainability program. Karla joined IFC as an Investment Officer in August 1999 and was promoted to Manager of the Garment program in May 2005. Before that, she was Head of Business Studies at Regent College in Cambodia. Prior to moving to Cambodia, Karla served as finance manager for Mega City Group of Companies and worked as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Philippines. She has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from De La Salle University and is a CPA. Karla is a Philippine national.

Nguyen Thi Thanh TAM
Team Assistant
Tam joined IFC in November 2003, based in Ho Chi Minh city office. She graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social, Sciences and Humanity and the Ho Chi Minh College of Education and Training. Before joining IFC, Tam spent fourteen years teaching English for teenagers. Tam is a Vietnamese national.

Nguyen Thuc QUYEN
Project Manager, Energy Efficiency & Cleaner Production (EECP)

Quyen heads a unit promoting sustainability initiatives across the IFC Mekong. Before joining IFC in February 2005, Quyen had 12 years of development work with international NGOs and UNDP. Quyen has an MA in International Development and Resources from Leeds University-UK, and recently completed her MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Nottingham-UK. Quyen is a Vietnamese national.

Lam Binh BAO
Technical Specialist/Consultant, Energy Efficiency & Cleaner Production (EECP)

Bao joined IFC in 2009 as a technical specialist in EECP program. Before joining IFC, Bao had more than 14 years working experience with several leading organizations such as ABB, Tetra Pak. Bao has a BSc from Kiev Polytechnic University, Ukraine and MBA from UTS, Australia on AusAid scholarship. Bao is a Vietnamese national.

Le Quang NHANH
Team Assistant, Energy Efficiency & Cleaner Production (EECP)

Before joining IFC in March, 2008, Nhanh worked for the VOCTECH Program - an NGO. He graduated from the University of Social Sciences & Humanities - Vietnam in 2002 with a BA in English Linguistics. Nhanh is a Vietnamese national.

Dang Thi Thu HONG
Acting Project Manager, Better Work Vietnam

Hong joined IFC in April 1997 as an investment officer for the Company Advisory Assistance program. Now she is managing a number of projects in the Supply Chain Linkages and Environmental and Social Sustainability programs. Before joining IFC, Hong spent ten years working for several companies in the Ministry of Heavy Industry. Hong has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Polytechnics (Vietnam) and holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley (US) on a Fulbright scholarship. Hong is a Vietnamese national.


Pham Thi Hoang LIEN
Training Coordinator, Better Work Vietnam

Lien joined IFC in March 2009 in the role of Training Coordinator for the Better Work Vietnam project. Her responsibilities include developing a pool of qualified trainers for Better Work Vietnam and coordinating training activities with training partners. Before joining IFC, Lien had five years working experience in private sector and development organizations, including UNICEF and Oxfam Quebec. Lien acquired a Master Degree in International Development that she pursued from the International University of Japan. Lien is a Vietnamese national.


Cao Thi Cam NHUNG
Team Assistant, Better Work Vietnam

Nhung joined IFC in April 2008. Nhung has five years of experience assistance to CFO/GM. Nhung holds degrees from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Nhung is a Vietnamese national.

ELEONORE Richardson
Project Manager, Better Factories Cambodia

Eleonore is the Cambodia Project Manager for the Environmental and Social Sustainability program. Eleonore joined IFC as a Garment program consultant in June 2006 and was promoted to Project Manager in October 2007. Before joining IFC, she managed the French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in Phnom Penh. Prior to moving to Cambodia, Eleonore worked in the Strategic Business Group at UK-based firm Herman Miller Ltd. She attended a Sorbonne BA course at ICP in Paris, France. Eleonore is a French national.

SARAK Duong
Project Analyst

Sarak is currently working as a Project Analyst for the ESS program in Phnom Penh office, Cambodia. Prior to joining IFC, Sarak spent two years as a Project Coordinator with CWPD (a local NGO) on energy conservation and renewable energy projects. Sarak also spent six years as a Program Officer with PATH (a US-based NGO), providing technical support to government agencies to strengthen health systems and build viable markets for household water treatment initiatives for poor and middle income populations in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Sarak holds a BA in Psychology and Business and an MA in Development Studies. Sarak is a Cambodian National.

DANETH Rom Ma
Team Assistant
Daneth joined IFC in July 2007, before joining IFC, she worked for Pact Cambodia. Daneth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Daneth is a Cambodian national.
