The Business Enabling Environment (BEE) program focuses on improving policy and regulatory environments for doing business at the national level, so that the private sector can be a key contributor to economic growth and development. By supporting the evolution and implementation of business start-up and operations procedures, we help provincial governments open up markets to private investment and lower business costs and risk.
We also support the development of private sector advocacy and results-oriented dialogue by providing operational support to private sector forums in each country. Our services include targeted research to help working groups strengthen reform initiatives and dissemination of related IFC MPDF information and opinion through mass media, IFC and World Bank publications.
