Margarete is responsible for IFC's financial market projects in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Lao PDR. Before joining IFC in June 2006, Margarete worked with KfW, where she was responsible for financial market investments in Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. She also headed KfW's investments in global microfinance funds and worked in risk management on developing a limit management system for KfW's financial market exposure. Prior to joining KfW, Margarete worked with a consulting company on privatization and SME development. Margarete holds a BA (Economics & International Politics) from University of Cape Town and a Master of Economics from Hochschule fuer Wirtschaft und Politik in Hamburg, Germany. Margarete is a German national.

Nguyen Thi Thu HANG
Project Manager, Capital Markets
Hang joined IFC in October 2008. Before joining IFC, Hang worked for the private sector, where she held CEO position in a local joint stock securities company. Hang also has over ten years of experience with international banks such as HSBC, Citibank where she was responsible for corporate banking, managing client relationships both for local and multinational companies. Hang holds a Master of Economics in Banking and Finance by University Paris Dauphine & ESCP-EAP France. She is a Vietnamese national.
Dam Trung KIEN
Project Officer
Kien joined IFC in December 2007, where he is responsible for Vietnam’s Bank Advisory Projects. Previously, he worked for 7 years for Deloitte Vietnam as an audit and financial advisory services manager in Vietnam. He also spent 2 years with Deloitte & Touch in USA. Kien is a graduate of the National Economics University and holds both US and Vietnam CPA. He is a Vietnamese national.
Nguyen Thi MY
Program Assistant
My joined IFC in January 2004 after several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, AISC. My graduated from National University and is obtaining a second BA in Accounting from the National Economics University. My is a Vietnamese national.
Pham Thi Thanh HUYEN
Program Assistant
Huyen joined IFC in December 2005. Huyen had nearly eight years of working experience for UNDP and DANIDA on projects focused on capacity building in the legal field before joining IFC. She holds an LLM from the Ho Chi Minh Law University and BA in Public Administration from the National Academy for Public Administration. Huyen is a Vietnamese national.

Prior to joining IFC in January 2002, Hourn had four years of community development experience, and six months of experience working in marketing in Paris. For IFC, from January 2002 until mid 2005, Hourn primarily focused on business associations, BE/Flexible Learning, and Business Edge TV. Hourn holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and a Specialized Master's in Entrepreneurship from Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Paris in France. Hourn is a Cambodian National.
SAKARA Sour Noeu

Sakara joined IFC in October 2006. Prior to joining the Facility, she worked for two years with an agribusiness firm and for another year with a construction company as a document controller and purchasing agent. Sakara earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management at Cambodia’s National University of Management. Sakara is a Cambodian National.

VIENGXAY Praphasiri
Project Officer
Viengxay joined IFC in 1999. She has extensive experience in the banking sector, having spent more than seven years as a credit officer with a local Lao bank. Prior to that, Viengxay worked for the Bank of Lao PDR. Viengxay holds an MSC in Economics from the Australian National University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Hungary. Viengxay is a Lao national.

Sakhone joined IFC in May 2000 after working for five years as an Administrative Assistant at the Obayashi Corporation. Sakhone received a Diploma in Accounting from the Accounting College in Vientiane and she has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at RBAC in Lao PDR. Sakhone is a Lao national.
