August 7, 2009—IFC's expansion into social media about five months ago is helping us reach new audiences. We now have over 2,000 fans on Facebook and our videos on YouTube are gaining popularity.
This venture is part of a larger effort by IFC to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders. We aim to showcase IFC's development impact and keep fans up to date on our projects and activities, with the ultimate goal of fostering greater transparency and engagement with the global community in our development mission.
