As part of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund's civil society organizations policy forum during the 2008 Spring Meetings, IFC has organized an informal briefing for accredited civil society organizations on April 11, 2008, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The briefing was hosted by Lars Thunell, IFC Executive Vice President and CEO. It provided an update on the latest developments at IFC and opportunity for discussion.
The actual 2008 Spring Meetings CSO Policy Forum is being held from April 10 to 13. It comprises numerous policy dialogue sessions, which bring together representatives from the World Bank Group, IMF, the CSO community, and government officials to discuss key issues for this year's meetings.
The World Bank Group is also seeking input from stakeholders to help develop a new strategic priorities framework for civil society relations. Click here to learn more.
