IFC currently holds a committed portfolio of over half a billion in investments in transportation services projects (airlines, shipping, and railways). We can consider greenfield projects, corporate loans, acquisition finance, refinancings, and a variety of contractual structures, including concessions, BOTs, and public-private partnerships.
Sealion Sparkle and Ocean Sparkle - India IFC provided a $3 million loan to Ocean Sparkle and a $5 million loan to Sealion Sparkle for its own account, a 51:49 joint venture of PSA Marine (Pte) limited (a 100% subsidiary of the Port of Singapore Authority) and Ocean Sparkle. Ocean Sparkle is one of the largest tug operator and provider of comprehensive port management services in India. IFC's investment would enable the company to expand its services at the various major and minor ports in India including at the newly built Petronet LNG terminal facility at Dahej (Gujarat). |
