Studies

IEG-IFC’s studies analyze broad themes and trends related to IFC's performance and the lessons of its experience in sectors and countries. Topics are selected for their strategic development relevance and provide hard data for management and the Board to assess IFC’s past performance and help IFC management to develop corporate, sector, and country-level strategies.

IEG-IFC studies are also frequently done in collaboration with the IEG units of the World Bank and, sometimes, also with MIGA, in order to provide the Board with a broad perspective of performance and issues across the World Bank Group.
