Partnerships

In pursuing partnerships, IEG-IFC seeks to strengthen cooperation among evaluators of development agencies, broaden its methods, and increase opportunities for dissemination of its lessons learned. Harmonization of standards is another important objective for IEG-IFC.

IEG-IFC has two important types of partnerships:

Partnerships with Multilateral Organizations: IEG-IFC partners with the evaluation offices of multilateral development banks that support the private sector through the Working Group on Private Sector Evaluation of the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG).

Training Partnerships: IEG-IFC, in collaboration with IEG-World Bank, has partnered with Carleton University to offer the "International Program for Development Evaluation Training" (IPDET). The annual international program is designed to help attendees develop skills to conduct meaningful evaluations of development interventions.
