IFC and its partners recently sponsored a series of health and investment conferences in Africa to discuss IFC’s strategy for helping the region address its health care challenges.
Roundtable discussions were held at the following locations:

April 17, 2008 - Le Meridien - Dakar, Senegal
April 28, 2008 - Eko Hotel & Suites - Lagos, Nigeria
April 30, 2008 - Hyatt Regency - Johannesburg, South Africa
May 5, 2008 - Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
The aim of these forums was to disseminate key findings of the report and bring together lenders and experts to discuss the challenges faced by the private health sector in Africa and how IFC can better provide support.
