 | Irina Kokaia
Project Manager
Irina manages project activities and supervises implementation of its objectives. Irina spent last year and a half working at the IFC Small and Medium Enterprise (CSM) Department, Headquarters where she lead enhancements to the Measurement and Evaluation standard performance indicators logical framework across the IFC. Prior to joining CSM, Irina worked for IFC PEP's Business Enabling Environment projects in CEU (Central and Eastern Europe) and SECA (South Europe and Central Asia) regions. Irina also spent 5 years working for the banking industry in Georgia as a Leading Economist with the Central Bank of Georgia and Financial analyst for the USAID Bank Supervision Program. In addition, Irina delivered lectures in financial analysis at the Caucasus School of Business and performed qualitative and quantitative evaluation of grant proposals for the European Commission’s Microproject’s Program. Irina holds MBA and MPA degrees. |

 | Eka Avaliani
Economic Analyst
Eka’s duties include analyses of economic processes in Georgia and working on Survey Report of Business Environment in Georgia. Eka worked at the Ministry of Economic Development as a Head of the Department for Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations. Her experience also included working as an Economic Analyst at the National Security Council Restructuring Project funded by the US State Department and implemented by the RAND Corporation and as an Economic Advisor at the Department for working with International Financial Organizations and Donors of the State Chancellery of Georgia. Eka holds Master's Degree in Public Administration. She has completed one year intensive course in International Relations and Policy Analyses offered by GFSIS in partnership with RAND Corporation and one year courses in Policy Analyses offered by CIDA. |

 | Givi Petriashvili
Legal Consultant
Givi’s work is focused on the development and drafting of the legislative environment and bringing administrative procedures into compliance with international practice. He has a LL. M. Degree from the University of Amsterdam and Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Givi’s wide legal experience covers standardization, licencing, inspections and taxation. He delivers lectures on legal ethics to Attorneys at American Bar Association. Before joining the Project, Givi was involved in private practice, worked at a joint project by USAID and Institute of Strategic Researches, advised clients at a private consultancy and served as legal specialist at the Ministry of State Property Management. |

 | Vazha Nadareishvili
Survey Coordinator
Vazha is responsible for the overall strategy, research and methodology design for the surveys, development of questionnaires, data analysis and survey report write-up. Prior to joining IFC, Vazha has worked as a research fellow for the RAND Corporation (Santa Monica, CA, USA), as a research analyst at the Broad Foundation (Los Angeles, CA, USA), as a professor of data analysis and business modeling at Caucasus School of Business, and as a professor of higher mathematics at Georgian Technical University. He has also worked in several World Bank transport projects and international energy companies. Vazha defended his PhD dissertation in policy analysis at Pardee RAND Graduate School (part of the RAND Corporation). He also holds a candidate of science degree in mathematics from Tbilisi State University and an MPA degree from Georgian Institute of Public Administration.

| Tamar Barbakadze
Communications Associate
Tamar is responsible for planning and implementing public communications campaign for the project. Her duties include facilitating public dialogue about administrative and regulatory fields, promoting the project to the media as well as developing information materials for small and medium enterprises. Prior to joining IFC, Tamar was the Press Secretary at the Embassy of Israel in Georgia. Tamar spent two years and a half at the Georgian International Oil Corporation as the Head of Media Relations' Group. For eight years Tamar worked at Georgian TV and Radio Broadcasting as a reporter of daily news programs and for two years as an anchor of weekly analytical program. She graduated from Tbilisi State University, faculty of West European Languages and Literature. She took training courses for TV Journalists at Radio Netherlands Training Centre, Hilversum, the Netherlands and at UN Headquarters, New York, USA.

 | Mendi Jokhia
Financial Analyst
Mendi is responsible for accounting/financial activities, compiling/controlling budget, payment of accounts, writing financial reports for donors. Mendi’s previous experience includes working in the Office of US Treasury Department, at the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, International Rescue Committee (IRC). She is a student of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds Master’s degree in Public Administration received at the Georgian-American Institute of Public Administration (GIPA).

 | Mariam Bulbulashvili
Team Assistant
Mariam provides administrative support to the Project, where her duties include planning and coordinating business meetings, maintaining business correspondence and assisting in the preparation of presentations and project materials. In her previous employment Mariam worked at the United Georgian Bank, Tbilisi and Yerevan offices of McCann-Erickson, advertising agency, as Finance Manager, Client Service Director and Managing Director. She also worked at FINCA as Inaugurator. Mariam received her education in Georgia and Russia. She graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages and TACIS Higher Management School. She holds Master's Degree in Business Administration. Currently she is an undergraduate of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

 | TORNIKE SHARVADZE
IT Assistant
Tornike Sharvadze has a technical background holding a degree in physics and computer science from Tbilisi State University. While still a university student, he was working in a private company GIS-Lab providing GIS and IT support. He has an experience in dealing with geographic databases, satellite images, raster and vector files, GPS support, analytical work and cartography. Currently he provides IT support to Georgia Corporate Governance Project including operating of the network, installation of the software and the hardware.
