Global Cleaner Production Technical Assistance Program

Request for Proposal

The International Finance Corporation's Sustainability Business Innovator intends to launch the Global Cleaner Production Technical Assistance Program described below.

The program will entail technical assistance to IFC's pipeline or portfolio clients to identify Cleaner Production ("CP") improvement opportunities in their internal processes, new projects, and their products. Most assignments will consist of executing a CP site-based assessment followed by a written report and debrief with IFC and its clients. The program is expected to take place over two years with the possibility of extending for an additional two years to be evaluated on an annual basis.

The International Finance Corporation's Sustainability Business Innovator now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing their services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

There will be no short-listing process. However, interested firms can submit questions via electronic mail to cleanerproduction@ifc.org and responses will be posted on this website to be made publicly available to all interested parties. Final proposals must be submitted electronically to the same address above.
