Brief
Dr. Bong Gun Chung is a career government official with considerable experiences in academic activities. He studied political science, educational foundations, and policy making and has been involved in education reform planning, recently in the design of human resources development policies. Reform of education through HRD policies is his main concern now. Such an approach is rather a new one in education sector in Korea. Lately, he spent a lot of time in discussing with contending colleagues about national innovation system, HRD, and R&D, in a nutshell, knowledge creation and role of government.
