Partial Credit Guarantee Schemes – Experiences and Lessons

Overview: Credit guarantee schemes distribute credit risk, can improve access to finance and spur private sector development. At this 1 1/2 day workshop, participants will discuss and compare a variety of different types of guarantee schemes, considering recent experiences in several regions and outcomes. Empirical research will assess the impacts of credit guarantee schemes on: credit constraints, entrepreneurship, SME finance.
