What IFC Discloses

Below is a list of documents and other information made available to the public per IFC's Disclosure Policy (updated April 30, 2006). This page has been revised (October 2007) in order to reflect the consolidated IFC Annual Report 2007.

Investment-Related Information

• Summaries of Proposed Investments
• Environmental & Social Review Summaries
• Brief Summary Report of a program or facility - made available no later than 30 days after IFC's Board of Directors approves the establishment and funding of a new or renewed TAAS program or facility.
• Studies or research funded either directly by IFC or through donor-supported facilities (subject to the consent of any relevant donors or the client for which the report was undertaken).

• Articles of Agreement and By-Laws
• Board of Directors - Minutes of Formal Meetings
• Board Documents - disclosed only if expressly specified in the Policy or otherwise authorized for disclosure by the Board.
• Country Assistance Strategies - prepared jointly with the World Bank. Documents are disclosed in accordance with the World Bank's Policy on Disclosure of Information.
• General Staff Information
• IFC's Budget & Business Plan including the administrative budget, based on the Strategic Directions Paper (subject to the redaction of any confidential or sensitive information).
• Policy & Performance Standards on Social & Environmental Sustainability
• Strategic Directions Paper - made available to the public annually, after the Board has approved the budget (subject to the redaction of any confidential and sensitive information).

Financial Documents & Information

Most of IFC's financial information is made available through its Annual Report.

Historical Information

• Historical information on IFC projects in which IFC's investment has been repaid, sold, or otherwise concluded. (NOTE: IFC does not disclose information about projects that it considered, but in which it did not ultimately invest.)
