Creating Opportunity: Doing Our Part for an Inclusive and Sustainable World:
This paper consists of two parts and a conclusion. The first presents IFC’s approach to increasing its impact over the coming three-year period, building on the achievements of the past three years. The second discusses the main challenges IFC faces and the approach to meeting those challenges.
This paper is accompanied by a Background Paper which discusses the external environment and provides a progress update on IFC’s performance, and in particular on achievements in its five priorities and regional strategies. Readers are encouraged to read both documents together and to take into account the rich information presented in the Background Paper when reviewing the proposed IFC strategy in this Road Map.
