 Calvin Xu
Senior Operations Officer
Calvin brings to the CHUEE team fifteen years of experience in the energy business. He has worked on projects that cover the whole value chain of energy production, transportation, distribution, trading and consumption, and in the capacity of a business developer, financial adviser or consultant. Calvin has a bachelor’s degree of economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and an MBA from Georgetown University. Calvin has recently been assigned to work in IFC’s Beijing office after spending eight years studying and working in the USA. His former employers include Pace Global Energy Services, Enron Corporation, BHP Billiton, and the Chinese Government.

 Cunfeng Dai
Associate Operations Officer
Cunfeng has spent the last eight years working for energy conservation and renewable energy projects funded by the World Bank and Global Environment Facility. Cunfeng has in-depth understanding of China’s energy efficiency markets, as well as the development of sustainable energy services business models. Cunfeng has a bachelor’s degree of financial management from Tsingtao University and an MBA from Beijing Jiaotong University. |

 Dianjun Zhang
Senior Engineer
Dianjun has been working in the energy industry for seventeen years. He is experienced in district heating, HVAC and energy efficient engineering projects. His expertise is focused on feasibility studies and project management for energy projects, energy system planning and design, energy engineering and supervision of installation, etc. Dianjun received his Master’s Degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology and Ph.D from Helsinki University of Technology.
 Huan Ni (Helen)
Communications Officer
Helen started her career as an economic news journalist. She has five years’ experience in Small and Medium Enterprise development, SME financing and international projects in SME consulting. Prior to joining IFC, she was working for UNDP China as a Coordination Officer for the Directorate. Helen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.
 Zheng Sun
Financial Analyst
Zheng is always passionate about numbers. Before he joined CHUEE team, he had been working with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China headquarters for nearly six years as a credit analyst. He has been experienced in credit analysis, including loan application review, loan approval and portfolio management. Zheng obtained his Master Degree in Accounting from Remin University of China after he earned his first degree from the Central University of Finance and Economics. Zheng is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) chartholder.
 Ying ZHOU (Zoe)
Operations Analyst
Zoe joins the CHUEE team with three years of experience in commercial banking business. She served as an associate loan officer for the Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOE) at HSBC, Beijing, particularly in the area of loan origination, processing and risk management. Zoe holds a bachelor’s degree of economics from Beijing Normal University and an MPA concentrated on Public Policy from Syracuse University.
 Dong Chen
Engineer
Dong is an expert in thermal energy engineer. He has been working in heating sector on project planning, advisory and designing for over five years. After graduated from the Department of Thermal Energy Engineering, Beijing University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree, he had worked for Qingdao Haier Air-conditioner Co.,Ltd and Beijing District Heating Project Design Company as an engineer before he joined CHUEE team. Dong is in charge of reviewing energy efficiency feasibility studies, evaluating energy saving proposals, etc.

 Yongsheng Li (Jeffery)
Translator and interpreter
Jeffery is a conference / simultaneous interpreter. His ten years’ experience in translation covers engineering, finance, accounting, automotive, equipment, security and technology. Before joining IFC Jeffery was a Senior Interpreter with Ford Motor (China) Co. Ltd. for two years. Jeffery holds two Bachelor's degrees from Beijing Polytechnic University: a B. Eng. in mechanical engineering and a B. Sc. in Economics，and a Master's Degree in English from Beijing International Studies University. He has been awarded the Conference Interpreter Certificate from an EU-sponsored training program for conference and simultaneous interpreting. |

 Junxiu Liu (Jenna)
Team Assistant
Jenna has three years’ experience in the field of finance, marketing and customer relations with a real estate company and multinational construction company, and another three years in administration and HR as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager with a multinational service company. Before joining IFC Jenna was a translator and interpreter for a professional translation agency. Jenna holds a Bachelor's Degree in English translation and interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She plays a leading role in coordination work related to M&E accounting in the CHUEE team. |

 Xuelei Tan (Shirley)
Team Assistant
Xuelei has been working in the IFC Beijing Office as a receptionist for the past three years. She joined the CHUEE team in October 2006 and mainly looks after travel and hospitality matters for the CHUEE team. Prior to joining IFC, she worked as a Senior Guest Relations Officer in a five-star hotel for four years. Xuelei holds a College Degree in Hotel Management from Beijing Education College. |
