CHUEE program is expected to achieve the above objectives by involving all relevant market players in energy efficiency sector. Energy Management Companies IFC and its partner banks cooperate with Energy Management Companies by providing financing support and technical assistance to their projects. Energy Management Companies deliver a package of services to their end users, including energy audits, energy efficiency project design, financing, procurement, construction, testing, training, and post-project management. In return, the Energy Management Companies collect energy service fees according to their contracts. Energy Efficiency Equipment Suppliers IFC has helped partner banks establish relations with a number of high profile energy efficiency equipment suppliers. Through the partnership with equipment suppliers, banks can better market energy efficiency loans, diverse relevant risks and replicate deals. Utilities IFC has established partnership with a number of utility providers (gas, electricity, heating, etc). In its service territory, each utility will develop energy efficiency projects and products for its clients, team up with service providers in project implementation, and provide "one-stop" energy efficiency project financing services in collaboration with financial institutions. |
