Ms. Sandy Lutz

Sandy Lutz is director of the Health Research Institute of PricewaterhouseCoopers. As director, Ms. Lutz leads national and global thought leadership and research initiatives for the firm and clients. Based in Dallas, Sandy speaks extensively on healthcare trends and the future of healthcare. She also consults with healthcare systems, corporations, private equity funds, trade associations, policy groups, and health plans on strategic planning, trends and forecasting analysis, and communications efforts.

Ms. Lutz' clients have included the American Hospital Association, the Federation of American Hospitals, the American Association of Health Plans, the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ms. Lutz was a healthcare equity analyst for Rauscher, Pierce, Refsnes, a Dallas-based investment bank. Prior to that, she was Dallas bureau chief for Modern Healthcare, a weekly business magazine, for 10 years. Ms. Lutz has written four books on the business of healthcare.
